I've never seriously beta read for anyone before, but I love helping my sister and friends make their work more solid and defined. I know I have problems with my own work, because I know the material so well that I don't catch simple errors because I read over them. I'd love to help others with this problem, and would even be more than happy to act as a sounding board for plot development or characterization. I am a college student, and have taken a creative writing poetry class, so I'm also more than happy to work with poetry too, as I am familiar with the workshop and critiquing process.

Honestly, I consider myself a better poet than writer, but I am in love with telling stories and creating plots, so I continue to pursue fiction writing. I have a strong vocabulary and am very good at using the correct tense and comma placement. I am also awesome at varying sentence structure and diction.

I admit that I'm not the best speller, but hey, what is spellcheck for, right? I also have a few issues with dialogue formatting.

I'll beta anything, really, poetry and fiction are both fine with me.

Fantasy stories get under my skin a little, I have to say, as well as outrageous cliches. But as a long as it's creative I'm really up for anything.
