Hey hey. My name is Alyssa. I used to write a lot for fp, but I've been pretty busy. I'm a journalism major in college and I definitely know my way around grammar and editing. I'm willing to do anything you need me to do. I have a few requirements and expectations: that you've been on fp for a while and that you do a lot of reading when you aren't writing. In my opinion, reading is essential to good writing. I also need you to demonstrate at least some knowledge of grammar and spelling. I'm not the kind of person that will take your rants and unformatted paragraphs and try to make sense of them. If you can't write at least at a high school level, I'm not going to take the time to bother trying to make sense of your jumble. Please be considerate.

I'm good at spelling and grammar. I'm also pretty good at plotting and brainstorming. If you've gotten yourself into a corner with a plot, I will be glad to help you out of it. I'm here for inspiration! I also like to research, so if you need an essential fact for your story, let me know.

I can't focus on one large block of type. Please split your paragraphs up into paragraphs or I really can't get through it (and neither can most readers.)

Romance is my forte. I can also handle some action/adventure or suspense.

I'm an English speaker, with a little bit of French knowledge, so I'm not going to be able to help you with foreign languages. I also won't read smut or LGBT stories. Just my personal preference.
