Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Hi, hiro0911 here. I'm a second year student in Boston Univ. getting an MA in English.
My beta-reading capability depends a lot on my mood though, so if I'm not in the mood, I'd rather not review (I hate giving empty reviews). However, if I'm in the mood, I really tend to give reviews that are quite substantial. So just check out my Beta-Request Status if it's a happy face (active) or a sad face (active-hiatus).
I don't mean to be rude but... for me, it SHOULD be a 'two-way ticket' just to make it fair. I'm willing to proofread if you'll be willing to read and review at least one of my stories (and by reviewing doesn't mean the generic 'update soon' comment). See, I'm gonna do the beta-reading for free, right? It wouldn't hurt if you would return the favor at least ^_^. |

Being a manga-section writer, I prefer anime-inspired stories. Romance stories are cool too. Fantasy - as long as it isn't written like Tolkien, it'll be a great try. |
