Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I usually enjoy stories with epic scope, good characters, exciting action that makes sense within the confines of the story, a plot twist or two. So if your story has any of those, please feel free to, um, inquire about my services. If your story has anything to do with fighter pilots, space battles, or dogfights I want to beta read it. Period. Amen. I'll be honest with feedback and try to give suggestions accordingly. That's really all I can promise. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Plot, characters, and action are my stronger suits. If you need help getting in the right direction with your characters who you want to blow something up to discover the next stage in a diabolical plot, I'm your guy. |

My biggest weakness is punctuation. I'm competent but there are definitely others better suited to helping you with your story with its grammatical/punctuation errors. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
Well-written, interesting stories that contain one or some of the following: hand to hand combat sequences, gun fights, car chases, fighter pilots, space battles, conspiracies, espionage, mechs, realistic character interaction, guys named Chuck, girls named Lola, innovative action scenes, and a satisfying climax. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Romance (of the cheesy variety), Slash, mostly anything that doesn't have something from my preferred section.
