Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I am an English major, though most of my stories don't reflect that accurately, considering I wrote them quite a few years ago. I will generally have a chapter out on a same day basis, after I have read and re-read the chapter. My job forces me to be up at odd hours and I do not sleep a whole lot. I expect anyone I beta for not to hand me something half assed, my job is to correct spelling, punctuation, check facts and generally help the chapter to flow well it is not to write the chapter myself. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Grammar, not spelling though, but I can notice most errors in spelling. Fact checks, research. I have a large vocabulary and am able to produce quality product in a short time. Erotic, graphic or not, slash or not. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Battle scene, any sport, I've never gained the knack for those scenes. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
All take anything, short stories, long mult chapters, anything. Slash, fem/fem, male/male, male/fem whatever you want I don't care at all. |
