I've been writing a series of stories for about 5 years now, a process that has included many re-writes and re-reads. I'm still not happy, but then I am a bit of a perfectionist. I'm fanatical about spelling, grammar and syntax, so if you ask me to beta-read I will definitely be thorough in that respect. Where content is concerned, I will usually leave the main ideas up to you. It is your story, and you know where it is going. The only time I will get involved with that aspect is if I really can't understand what you're trying to communicate, or if there's obvious holes in the plot. However, if you would like me to suggest something from my own abstract and slightly odd imagination, I will give it a go. I know there's some fantastic ideas out there, and I'm just here to help you share yours with others in a readable way.

As mentioned before, I am best at highlighting spelling and grammar, or helping to restructure sentences that need adjusting. You may get fed up with my 'pickyness', but it will attract more people to read your story.

I am sometimes reluctant to put forward too many of my own ideas for your story, as it's YOURS! Your ideas and your imagination will make a fab story by themselves! But feel free to ask me if you're really really stuck for ideas.

I like reading all sorts of stories in many different genres. At the moment I'm writing mainly action/drama/adventure stories set on another planet, so anything like that I'd be very happy to look through. Saying that, I'm up for anything usually.

I'm not too keen on horror or very overt sexual stuff. Nothing's too violent for me, but I prefer to steer clear of the afore-mentioned content.
