I am an English nineteen year old and so use British spellings and vernacular in my own writing, but for those writing in American English don't be put off by this- I'll beta using which ever you rather. By general standards I am well read and tend to read widely. In a year's time I am hoping to begin a degree in English literature.

If you ask me for it I will give painfully honest criticism of your writing, both style and content. If you don't want honesty then don't ask me. I will try to be tactful, but I'd prefer to read for anyone who cares enough about their writing that they prefer constructive criticism to empty praise.

I am particularly intolerant to bad poetry.

I look forward to working with anyone who I haven't scared off.

I am well read and have good general literary knowledge. I also have a lot of time on my hands.

I am not an excellent proof reader- although I will try my best. I haven't actually beta-read before.

As a writer, although I hate cliches and overblown prose I have a weakness for them. If you try it though, I'll spot it and tell you off. Unless you're Oscar Wilde.

Gay fiction- girls or the boys. Anything a little bit different.

Nothing borderline (or actually) pornographic, although sex in a story is fine.
