Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
My name is Rolin and basically I'm pretty chill. I mostly just beta for grammatical/spelling errors, and sentence structure.
I've heard horror stories of betas who will try to reconstruct events in the story, or completely change chunks of writing, but you need not be afraid of something like that from me. I will NOT change anything without consulting the writer. (:
However, of you do want my help with plot/scenes/what have you, I'm always happy to help with that as well. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I easily catch spelling and grammatical mistakes. I will suggest ways to reconstruct a sentence if it seems to sound awkward, or if it takes a while to understand, but taking any advice is purely at the discretion of the writer; you might have wanted it to sound a certain way. Also, I could help with making sure the characters stay in character. |

I'm not super original or creative, so any suggestions I have for plot will not blow you away. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
Really, I like anything. I mostly like dark stories, or slash & femmeslash, but really anything's fine. I'm not opposed to any taboos either. |
