Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Hello,
I enjoy reading and writing a variety of stories. For Beta reading I tend to correct minor mistakes as I go along but for more conceptual issues I will give suggestions and thus it may take me longer than most to "get through" a story. I will only beta read one story at a time so there may be a waiting list please be patient. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I tend to adopt to the writing style of the author and will make changes accordingly. I am also a nice critic--meaning I am very fair and will only give suggestions and not harshly bash another's work. Although this doesn't mean that I am not honest. I will make it clear what aspects need work and what aspects are solid. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I may not catch all spelling or grammar errors. I am human so please read over my corrections before posting. Even if you go through my own stories there are still mistakes I find here and there. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I tend to like darker moody stories with lots of interesting characters and plot twists. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I'm not good with stories that contain a lot of sexual content. Doesn't mean I'm a prude just means that I don't write romance novels therefore can't really give good feedback on them. |
