Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
As a beta-reader, I take things as they are first go. I'll take it at my own pace. If you want me to beta read for you, you'll have to live with that, because, as many of my friends confess, I'm one of the best beta-readers they've ever had. I know I'm good, so if you want me, you have to deal with my quirks. As a beta-reader, I expect respect, because I'm here to make your stories better. If you treat me poorly, I'm going to treat your story poorly. I also need a couple of nice, friendly kicks in the butt every once and a while, so don't give up on me if it seems like I've forgotten you. |

My main strength is that I can read very fast, and I notice errors while I'm reading, and can edit them quickly and proficiently. I've also read almost every genre, so there's almost nothing that will surprise me. |

If anything... I procrastinate... badly. I am a really bad procrastinator if the story isn't interesting or I haven't been to it in a while. If I don't get back to you as soon as you would like, just send me an email or something, and I'll get right on it as soon as I can. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I prefer to beta Sci-Fi stories above all, and after that comes Fantasy, Horror, and Suspense stories. That's basically it for the kind of stories I prefer, but I'm not picky. My only other preference is that the stories be well written, if possible. After all, that's what I'm here to help with, isn't it? |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I don't do bashing stories. If you want to bash someone, I'm not the beta for you. Look elsewhere. I also don't do stories without a plot well. They don't hold my interest. Anything else is fine. |
