I'm an avid reader and enjoy reading anything that is well written, or has a good plot. My weakness in life is correcting papers and helping people with their stories. Someone I don't care for could ask me to correct or help them with their writing, and I wouldn't be able to say no. I will admit that I'm a bit new to betareading, but, I've been reading people's stories and papers for ages now. When I'm on FictionPress, I'm normally on looking for a new story to read anyway. I'm on FP a lot.

I'm really good at bouncing ideas around with people who are struggling with the plot to a story. I'm also good at pointing out spelling and grammar errors as well, even though I myself might have some. Syntax errors, like time line, repetitiveness and someone not getting rid of something but not having it later are also pretty easy to catch.

I'm not great at perfecting a story skeleton. With all my stories, I have a certain idea "she's got this problem, she does this in the story somewhere" but no skeleton. If it's an essay I'm writing, I'm better at a skeleton for those. I also don't write my stories in random pieces, but don't mind editing or reading random pieces. And I might not catch all of the grammar/spelling mistakes, but I'd do my best.

I normally prefer romance, humor or something bubbly, but I do enjoy stories that are very real in what they talk about. Mystery is always fascinating, and so is Fantasy. I don't mind short stories or chapter stories either.

I can't stand horror. Excessive blood with no good reason makes me sick to my stomach. As do plots along the lines of Edgar Allen Poe's Fall of the House of Usher, but if written well, I can stomach them. Also angst makes me depressed, but then again, depression is sometimes good for stories. Ask me and I might try it. Just no excessive blood.
