Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I read very contemptuously. I'll point out a few things that you do well, but mostly I read to tell you what you're doing "wrong." Writing is, of course, an art. And thus it's rather subjective. However, if you're interested in publishing your work, then there are things that agents will just glance at, and can very possibly dismiss a manuscript upon a short glance. I'll help move on to the next step.
