Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I've never been a beta before, but I would love to do it here on FictionPress. I love English, and am constantly correcting people on grammar errors. I generally proofread my classmates classwork or recreation pieces, and have been known to be a stickler for spelling and grammar, so I'll be kind of nit-picky. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I am very good at finding spelling, grammar, and punctuation mistakes, errors in the flow of the piece (like run-on sentences, confusing sentences, etc.), and errors in the desired or portrayed style or technique of the piece |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
If I really like the piece as a whole I may look over minor mistakes, my apologies. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I'll read anything with words, and beta any serious pieces |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Anything not really serious, please I only want serious pieces to beta. |
