Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I do not have excessive amounts of time to spend critiquing, so I must ask that you don't present to me something that would give Moby Dick a run for its money. I will be as honest with you as possible and cannot guarantee that this will not result in you being insulted; however, I shall try my best to be polite.
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I have a critical eye: grammatical errors, spelling errors, and poorly flowing sentences annoy me to no end, and I shall be sure to point them out. Despite this, I also understand that an author has artistic license and will avoid tampering with that right.
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Simply that I am not perfect, nor may I be a suitable beta reader for any random person. If you ask for my help, do it with care.
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
Stories that are well-written and need some touching up. I have bitter memories of editing poorly written stories and poems.

I am not partial to science-fiction or mediocre pieces.
