I've never been a beta-reader before but I've been writing for over five years and I often edit my boyfriend's school papers and such. |

My strengths are commas, spelling, and rewording statements to make them sound more intelligent. I've been getting better at adding details. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I know I have a lot of writing weaknesses but I don't know how to name them. i guess, the biggest one would be finishing something that i write. That doesn't include poems because those i finish on the spot but any story i write that is over ten or so pages long, i tend to forget about. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
Understandable Fantasy (no completely weird stuff), real life scenarios. I really love stories about vampires and werewolves. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Not a big fan on reading stuff with boy on boy love or girl on girl love. No sci-fi (it'll just confuse me) and...no overly detailed works, please. i understand the need to detail, but there is such thing as over detailing. if you want to read an example, try reading the His Dark Materials trilogy by Philip Pullman. the stories are good, but way too long. |
