Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I worked as a script reader/story analyst in the entertainment industry. Ever since I quit I kinda missed it. I have preference to easy reads, and not the heavy artsy-fartsy stuff full of allegories, symbolisms, metaphors, and whathot. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Grammar, which is a strength as much as it is a weakness (nobody's perfect!). Story construction, prose, character development, and dialogue. Would love to criticize those as well. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Grammar, as pointed out in the "My Strengths" section. Word use - I'm not a thesaurus so I might not be able to point out if a particular word is used properly or not, especially the difficult ones. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
Romance, Drama, Humor. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I'm open to anything, except that I might be weak at beta-reading when it comes to Fantasy/Horror/SciFi. |
