Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
As I beta-reader, I'll try to find every grammatical, spelling, and structural mistake/confusion I see. I'm an author of stories I'm quite proud of, though they may not be the best, and I understand what having a good beta is, and how important. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I'm good at finding structural problems in other people's work. Remembering key details that would effect the story in anyway. Most grammatical errors and spelling/wording. Word usage, I'm usually pretty good at when it comes to betaing other's work. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I'm not the most time-available person, but I will work very hard around my schedule to help get another's story posted as fast as possible. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
None really, I write slash, but I'm not securly tied to it. I like supernatural stories, romance, fantasy, and historial fictions mainly, but I will be happy to read anything. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Like I said, I'm a slash writer, and I have no problem with anything explicit. Het, FemSlash, Slash, or otherwise, bring it on. No problem with death, abuse, rape, murder, etc. (not condoning it of course, but even our more serious writers need beta's) |
