Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Mostly I'll just look for typos or grammar mishaps, the differences between acronyms and such. I don't change any big things, and I pretty much avoid changing dialog all together, unless there is an obvious typo/mistake. If you're looking for someone who will completely change your story and make it sound better or whatever, look elsewhere ^-^. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I can pick out grammar mistakes when I'm reading, any bit of grammar I don't know I'm unaware of not knowing, and in this I can say I'm pretty good with grammar in general. I like to read, so time shouldn't be a problem. Chances are I'll have the chapter read and beta'd as soon as I receive it. |

Now and then I skim over bits of a paragraph while reading instead of actually reading it. I try not to do this with betaing, but the habit sometimes sneaks up on me. It won't do any serious damage though. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I'll only Beta Slash/Yaoi/M/M OR femslash/Yuri. Sorry, they're the only types I enjoy reading :/. I prefer onces that focus a lot on the romance aspect to, but any slash/femslash is okay for me. |

Anything that isn't slash or femslash.
Also, I'd really rather not if it's the first story you've ever written, unless of course you've done a lot of role-playing or something similar that would help improve your writing skills. |
