Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
As a writer, I am me. That's all I can say. It's impossible to describe all my little quirks.
As a beta . . . I'm fairly inexperienced, but I proofread my aunt's stories, so I'm good with clarity and conventions.
If you want me to read your story, I expect politeness and understanding if I take a while. I have my life to live, and while I wish it was exclusively writing and reading, it's not, so I appreciate slack for school assignments and family functions. |

I'm really good at checking for spelling and grammar! My mom's a legal secretary and an English major, so I kind of picked that up at a very young age. |

I'm not particularly good at making unbiased suggestions for plot or character development; anything I say is going to have at least a slight slant to it. |

FLUFF! I love reading fluff. If you write good fluff, I swear I will read it! |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I am not comfortable beta'ing excessively violent, profane, or sexual stories. Also, superheroes are DEFINITELY "not my cup of tea." My brother excessively obsesses over superheroes, and I can't read about them anymore. |
