Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Who am I as a betareader? I suppose the honest answer is that I'm interested in making those stories around me just a little bit better. So many stories would be fantastic if only the grammar were up to par. It's the little things that add up to make the perfect story, and I'm willing to try and figure those out.
I usually make friends very easily, and I'm not overly critical. I realize that everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses and I respect that. I'm very flexible and willing to cooperate with your wishes, no matter what they may be. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I'm really good with grammar. I don't think I've gotten less than 100% on a grammar test since second grade. I can stand with pride and say that I am a grammar nerd.
I'm also pretty good at plotlines and story developement. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I tend to overuse commas in my own writing. A lot. But, I'll operate with discretion where other authors are at stake. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I'm willing to read absolutely anything, but I'm a sucker for romance. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I will read anything no matter the genre or context. |
