Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
A little about me:
Hello, I'm Hyatt.
I'm a junior in high school, but don't let that fool you into not picking me for a beta.
I'm more than capable to edit correctly and efficiently, despite my young age.
Me as a beta/beta style:
I'd say that I'm a beta-reader that will check your work over for the basics first (about three times a chapter or something of the like.) and also, if you ask me for it, I will make suggestions about where you should probably add more detail if it is a little confusing and/or give you feed back about the chapter. It takes me 2-3 days to beta one chapter, because I want to make sure it is perfect; however, if you are someone that doesn't have a lot of mistakes in your chapters it could only take me a day. ;D
Expectation:
If you don't like my style of beta then don't ask me to do it for you and/or tell me what you don't like and I'll fix what you consider I did wrong. I'm a rather relaxed person, so it won't hurt my feelings if you want me to change the way I do something. It isn't really a big deal.
Requests:
Please, talk to me outside of just editing your story. It is easier to stay in touch and more fun for the both of us if we get to know each other and become friends. ;D I'm a friendly person, so naturally I would want to get to know the author I'm editing for. |

Grammar, commas and semicolons ;D, getting things to the author on time, staying in touch, giving helpful feedback, etc. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Spelling (That is why I have spell check and a dictionary) and I think that is really all that I'm weak in. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I really love romance and so if it doesn't have romance in it I'll have a hard time being a beta for it. Besides that I roll with the flow and do almost everything in the story genre. I love to read poems sometimes, but I'd really like to stick to stories. |

I'm not really into murder and mystery being the main topic of a story, though you might be able to convince me if you talk to me about it. |
