Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
since my mother's a journalist, i'm a grammar Nazi, usually i try to make the sentences flow, i'm in English 3 and creative writing classes so i know basically how a story goes together but i will ask people before making changes other than grammar and spelling. people tell me that i'm too nice for my own good, but my patience isn't unlimited, if someone makes the same mistake every chapter, I'll likely lose my temper around chapter 25 or so same with mary sues, if i warn you about one ask me and I'll give you a link to a mary sue test for your character |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
i'm good at grammar and making the sentences flow into a story, i can advise people on character development but i won't change them with out their consent, with spelling, i'm about average but thats what spell check is for, i'm also good at telling the difference between a unrecognized word and a misspelled one. if your story has a prophesy poem, i could help you with it if you like but again, no consent, no change |

i'm hesitant to criticize, even when you need it, spelling is not my strongest area, but i'm usually good at finding the right correction on spell check, I'll lose patience very quickly with Mary Sue characters |

genre- fantasy, supernatural, lightly (k -> T)rated romance, action, some si-fi i'm not too choosy about what i edit so long as it's interesting |
