I'm more likely to comment on structure and grammar than I am on plot holes and such. I enjoy beta-ing almost as much as I enjoy writing. I am fine with beta-ing every type of sexual situation (het to yaoi to yuri to asexuality, whatever floats your boat).

Feel utterly unrestricted in asking for advice, a quick read-over or a more involved beta. I really do want to help you.

If you are interested in my services as a beta please pm me with a quick rundown of how involved you would like me to be, length of piece, genre, when you would like the piece beta-ed by etc. Then send the piece either through DocX on this site or to wirednweird@hotmail.com (preferably in .doc but I can deal with other formats). I don't mind how you send it to me but i do prefer to email it back as I use trackchanges in Word and these do not show up in DocX. Do not wait for a return pm to send me the piece (unless it's already on the site, in which case, I'll be able to find it). Thanks for making the beta experience swift and painless ;)

I have a rather large vocabulary and a thorough understanding of most of the meters of English poetry. I can be a stickler for grammar if required. I enjoy rearranging sentences. I am not frightened by the passive voice. I encourage subtlety and word play. I love character descriptions. The unusual makes me giddy. I am as close to fluent in Latin as most people get these days.

As I mentioned before, I'm not someone you want to talk to about plot problems (unless you just need someone to bounce ideas around with). I don't have the patience for screenplay or intense angst/horror.

I'd prefer to beta stories that are not angst-ridden. I prefer longer pieces over shorter pieces and I like fantasy pieces, mythologies and essays.

I am open and willing to beta anything as long as you are open and willing to take any criticisms.
