Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I would like to help others improve their writing and maybe learn something from others. I first read the story and/or poem for enjoyment. Then, I read it again to see if there is anything I can learn from or may need improvement. I expect some feedback from the writers of the storis and/or poems which I am reading. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I am better writing poetry, mostly dealing with views. I do have a couple of stories I do write, but I prefer poetry. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I tend to put too much of my own beliefs into the review instead of sticking to the point. Some stories, I have also found, can be a bit confusing and hard to comment on. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
I enjoy reading poems and stories dealing with religion, adventure, and suspense. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
Some writings I do not enjoy reading include those with to-good-for-life characters and the type of poetry with one word per line. I enjoy reading almost all stories, however. |
