Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'm looking to beta! School's almost over and dance ends next week, so I'll have all this free time! I'm writing and directing a movie over the summer, so that may take a single day that I'm not available, but otherwise I'll be online every day!
If you want me to beta, please be open minded. Often times I'll beta and someone will get mad at me, but they keep sending me their stuff, but they ignore my suggestions. If you do that, there's this neat little botton on my inbox that's perfect! It says 'delete'. Also, I change the color of text and then put any changes in the same color and in bold at the bottom of the paragraph.
The worst sentance I've ever heard in the halls that I had to actually think about for a few minutes was, one girl asked another why she didn't text her and the other girl replied "I have no more minutes" So the first was like "Well, I didn't know that." Then the other replied (it made me cringe) "I been told you that." My first thought: w..t..f..
If you want me to betaread, PLESE do not substitute words for numbers. I won't betaread if you are THAT bad. |

Description. Making something extremely descriptive is a bit hard for me. I can do it, it just takes me a bit longer. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
Romance. I LOVE romance novels. Anything to do with vampires, I'll jump on. Werewolves, too. Er, not so much witches and wizards. I tend to like mythological creatures. NO DRAGONS! If you have a vampire romance, I will bow to you! I also enjoy Ghosts.
The only REQUIREMENTS I have are these:
1. MUST be romance ^^
2. No gay/lesbian lovers or whatever you wanna call them. Not that I'm homophobic, I just have no...knowledge in that area and I plan to keep it that way.
3. NO CHAT SPEAK! Please be semi literate!
4. You must be a bit patient and not get offended easily. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Westerns. Anything to do with witches, wizards, elves, nymphs, fairies/faeries, dragons...etc. Vampires and werewolves are about the only 'creatures' I like to read about. |
