I've been editing for many years now, on this site, as well as for friends whenever there is an essay due. I can get your work back usually within a few days, though I have a lot of rehearsals and such, which sometimes take up all of my time, though not for longer than a week. I enjoy just about everything I read, so I will edit with care, because, above all, I want to see your story do well and be free of nasty little grammar mistakes.

I've got all these grammar rules stored up in my head and excel at grammar as a consequence, though I'm also good at sorting out inconsistencies and making sentences flow well, as well as spelling.

I have trouble critiquing plots and characters, though I will certainly try, and I am forever trying to improve in these fields.

I love fantasy, science fiction, certain historical fictions, mystery, and romance. Above all, I love gay romance, and try to get my hands on as much of it as possible. Of course, I'm willing to beta straight romances as well, but, honestly, I prefer gay ones. Basically I'll edit anything except those few things you see in the category below.
I have no objection to graphic sex scene or incest, but I would like to steer clear of heavy violence. I'm a sucker for tragedies, as well.

I'd prefer nothing mainly spiritual (if it has some spiritual aspects, I'm all right) or anything with horror, as I am pathetically easily terrified. So if you have zombies, stay far, far away. I'm not sure I'd be much help in poetry, but am willing to try to the best of my ability. I'd also prefer not to edit young adult, but, again, am willing.
