I haven't beta read for anyone before, but I'm more than willing to try. I have a good command of the English language (a good grasp of a few others also), and a way with words. I can handle correcting grammar and spelling fairly well. I probably won't mess with your storyline much unless you tell me that's what you're looking for. I'm usually very prompt about getting things done. I will be in touch if it's going to take me more than a couple of days.

I'm usually pretty good at choosing words and making a passage flow. I have read [i]a lot[/i] of classic literature and modern literature my whole life, and recently I've been reading a lot of fiction on here, so I have a good background and some experience with well-written work.

I’m rather new to all this. Please try to be patient with me if what I give you at first wasn’t what you were looking for. Just let me know as much and I will try again. I’m a fast learner, though, I’ll pick it up before too long.

I'd be willing to read just about any genre. I tend to be particularly fond of historical fiction and fantasy. Oh yeah, and I'm an absolute sucker for anything that includes a dog and a boy, so if that's in your story, I'd be begging you to let me read it. I've written plays before, and read lots of them, so I'd be willing to give it a try. I don't mind reading slash/boy love.

I'm mostly open minded, but please don't send me anything excessively gruesome and horrific. If your story is terribly mushy and exclusively about romance, you might want to leave me out. I'm just starting to get past the little boy-ish disgust at that stuff. I do appreciate some romance, just as long as it isn't the sole plot. Like I said before, I don't mind reading slash, but I'd prefer not to read FxF, because I don't think I would be able to help you much.
