Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
As a beta-reader I am critical, focusing mainly on grammar and the coherency of a story. I beta as I read and prefer to start from the beginning as it is a chore to re-read work. If you would like me to beta for you, I suggest that you be prepared to be in contact with me about your story as I like to discuss upcoming events in the plot-line and will make suggestions to better your story's progress.
I tend to offer my services to other writers if I find I could help their stories, so I get more "work" that way than when I am PM-ed. It seems that whenever I turn of the Hiatus/Vacation mode, I get a flood of PM's requesting my services but when I write back, I get no reply. So if you want me to work with you, I will write back (eventually) to tell you whether I am interested or not.

By the way, in the past, I have copied and pasted from already created chapters. I cannot be expected to do this now, especially due to the recent upswing of plagiarism. I prefer to receive chapters via e-mail or via the Doc-X exchange function set up here on FictionPress. |

My opinion on how you wish your plot-line to flow. I tend to get attached to these stories just as much as authors do, as I am an author too. Hence, I do become quite passionate in my opinion of say, you proposed to kill off a character or something. |
