Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'm just a second-semester senior who loves to write. With that said, I will betaread on the assumption that you have a good grasp of the English language. And if you do decide to submit your work to me, I will hold it to high standards. I will not tell you your story is wonderful and lovely when I don't think it really is. I will give your work my honest opinion and ideas on how to make it better. But please understand that I have my own style of writing and that I will advise you based on how I write. |

I am honest when it comes to reading. Also, I've been taught in very grammar-Nazi English classes, so I know my grammar. And I can read between the lines. |

I have problems with my own stories, so obviously I don't know everything. My thoughts are spastic and I might overlook some errors. And I have problems with plot development issues. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
Got anything sarcastic? I love main characters with lots of attitude. And accidents tend to intrigue me. Take a look at some of the works I have written, and those are what I really enjoy. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I'm open to reading pretty much anything, but I would rather not read anything set in 1700s or hardcore sci-fi. And NO POETRY. And mindless cussing. I can handle strong language, but not because you want to make yourself sound b.a. by putting them in because you can. |
