Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I look mostly at grammar and punctuation and other mechanical aspects of the work. Eveyone's storyline is their own, so unless there is an awkward sentence, or an idea is not clear in a certain part of the work, I don't make a lot of improvement comments on the story content itself. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Strengths include strong grasp of grammar and punctuation rules. Mechanical errors are fairly easy for me to spot. Constructive criticism is very important to me, so that's what I offer. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
While I do believe highly in constructive critcism, I will point out everything that I find. Some writers find it to be too much. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
The romance genre is what I write in, so I prefer to beta those. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I'll read anything, but anything that has intense supernatural themes in it is sometimes hard to follow. |
