I am a girl made of metaphor. I usually read poems three times...first, for overall immersion, second, for examining deeper meanings, and third, for tightening verse and figuring out what could be improved. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
Imagery is my forte and I am addicted to adjectives. For me, each poem is a portrait of both the writer and the subject matter...word choice matters. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I avoid rhyme like the plague, so I'm not the best person to advise on rhyme-scheme. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I tend to stay away from amateur fiction, only because I have major issues with plot. But most types of poetry I'm fine with. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Please, please, please do not send me fiction or religious poetry because I am not equipped to deal with the former, and the latter gives me a headache. Also, if you're just starting out with rhyme, I'm not the best person to go to, either. |
