Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I've never tried beta-reading before, but I started having more free time recently, and the beta-reading is new, so I wanted to try it. I guess you should expect honesty from me. If I think something needs to be re-written, I'll tell you. Likewise, if your story is hilarious, or sad, or amazing, or cute or whatever I'll tell you what I think. I don't really like changing other people's stuff, so I would just make suggestions, but sometimes I get really good ideas that would fit perfectly in some part of a story, so I would tell you if I got a really cool idea. Oh, I also am not going to kill you if you have bad grammar. But seriously, at least read through it first. |

I'm good at placing commas, suggesting better words, stuff like that. I do speak Spanish, so if you need that. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I really can't spell. I misspelled "spelling" once. I'm also not that good at grammar and I sometimes look over slight mistakes, but I've never confused "to", "too" or "two". I've misspelled "two", but never misused it. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I really really really like slash, fluffy romance, mythology, some fantasy, and I don't really normally read action, but I guess I could try. I do prefer guy-guy slash rather than girl-girl, but I can read either. FLUFFY SLASH! LIGHT HEARTED! |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Violent stories. Yes, I did write a story with people shooting guns, but i don't really like domestic violence, no matter how fluffy it ends up. Also don't need parent's abusing their children for being gay. Oh, or stories where two dudes are screwing and one is being violent to the point of rape. But I'll read M. |
