Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
Honestly, I have never beta-read before, but I am quite willing to give it a shot, and I shall do my best. When I read, I am nitpicky, but I do my best to give helpful comments and suggestions. I will not make changes to sentence structure without permission, but I will mark and chane spelling and grammatical errors. I prefer to read fantasy, but I am open to a myriad of genres other than that. |

I am good at catching spelling mistakes, and I do decent work at grammatical errors as well. |

I do miss small errors, such as places which should be hyphenated. I shall, however, do my best to catch every error possible. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I prefer fantasy/adventure stories, but often enjoy others dealing with the supernatural and history. For poetry, I will read pretty much anything, but prefer haiku, limericks, and poems which are nature or fantasy related, or humourous. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I prefer not to read angsty things, or love poems or anything too gooey. It has just seemed to me that love poems are all the same cookie-cutter pencil mash, and I will not beta-read them, unless I see fit to do otherwise. |
