Well, I love editing and critiquing as much as I love to write, and I pay great attention to all three.
I will critique and edit your story as if it were my own, which is sort of a fair warning because I critque myself very rigorously. Even the smallest details can make or break a story. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I am very good with detail, I love descriptions. I have a keen eye for spelling, grammar, and proper word usage. I am well versed in dialogue, character, story, and plot developement, and scene creation. I also critique the story line itself.
If you want examples, feel free to read any of my stories, or I can tell you stories that I've reviewed, I usually sort of beta-read along with writing my review. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I will edit and critique just about any story, but with genres like romance or slash, I'm not very good at as I am not well educated in such style of writing.
I will still beta-read it if you want, I'll focus more on just basic things, but if I feel that I'm going to do more harm than good, I'll let you know that I cannot continue. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
Well, I prefer a story that is already well developed, not something that's just a stab in the dark, it's a waste of my time if you don't know where your story is going, wingin it is not something I like.
I can't really say what kind of story that I would prefer as my opinion varies constantly, and I don't want to discourage anyone from at least submitting their story. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
I'm not much into reading slash stories, I'm not homophobic, I just can't really wrap my head around them, it would be like an athiest reading the Bible.
I'm still open to try any story though, like I said, don't be discouraged from at least sending me your work. |
