Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I get right down to it. I make spell checks, get stuff that doesn't make sense, get tenses right and stuff. I make the fixes on the document, however, i prefer to get stuff sent to my e-mail so i can edit it on word and highlight changed things that were confusing. I am completely honest (just ask my friends) and i love it. It's something that i will get done soon becuase i love to read future authors, and it makes me feel like i'm really making a difference. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I am good at catching spelling, discription stuff, grammer, tenses, confusing things and other stuff along those lines. I edit all of my friends beta's and I leave nice comments, tell them whats confusing, leave an alternate sentance or something along those lines, I can edit tenses greatly (i get tons of practice from my friend Waffle). I'm also great at catching spelling mistakes and most grammer mistakes. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
when i'm writing, i tend to forget about grammer, and i'm not so good at catching if a story is going too slow or not. I also tend to babble and go on and on, so forgive me, i tend to take a while to get my thoughts across |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I like super natural stuff, some romance and a bit of realistic fiction (like The Truth About Forever by Sara Dessen), but, if i have to, i will read everything and anything. Mainly fiction stuff though, and only stories |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Poetry. Only you can edit poetry. I also don't really like essays, articles, or memoirs, that sorta thing. Also, romances rated M, no. But, if you really want me to, i will try my best to get your writing as good as possible. |
