Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I want to become a beta because I have spent a lot of time recently improving my own writing and think this will help me even more. And I love reading other peoples work's and giving advice. Because I have focused on writing styles recently, I think I could help others develop their own. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I am good at being wordy and using lots of descriptions. I am also good at spotting spelling and spacing problems. I love humor and have no problem telling you when it's appropiate or not. I also like making things relateable so if anything seems a bit too far "out there" I'll let you know. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Grammar grammar grammar. Oh dear that is definately my weakness. I just have a serious problem with possesive (anything with 's just scares me). But I can still spot obvious grammar problems. |
Preferred: types of entries I prefer over others
I prefer Supernatural and Fantasy stuff. Anything with a really interesting plot and good characters. |
Would Rather Not: types of entries I do not want to beta for
Manga I guess. Never really been my style. I also prefer to refrain from reading anything that is slash. I have nothing against eiter of them they are just "not my cup of tea". Also, please nothing obscene. |
