- I work under contact. Contract can be made for as long as you want. From one month to 10 years.
Why do I work under contact?
Because, I'm only interested in being a beta reader for people who are actually interested in writing and really want to get better. Its fine if its just a hobby for you, but I want to work with writers who want to get better, to be the best (or something close).

- I am strict and I can come off as "mean".
I will not apologize for this. So I am warning you now. I as your beta reader will make sure to the best of my ability that you become a wonderful writer. If this means I have to be strict or "mean", then that's fine with me. Whatever gets the job done.

- I do have a set of terms and conditions that you will have to follow. I do make exceptions and the Terms are really very simple. For more information feel free to send me a PM.

- I work with many clients. I will most likely not get to your chapter (or story) right away. In some cases it can take me up to 4 months though this is really very rare. I do try to get to your works right away and I try to let you know if it may take awhile.

- I request that you have Microsoft Office Word as your writing program. I do make exceptions, please contact me.

- When messaging me please do not automatically assume that I will be your beta reader. I have full right to decline. You should politely ask me to be your beta reader.

- Do not message me and use slang, chat speak, sticky caps, etc. I want to see full sentences with grammar included. I want to see that you are willing to take the time to write your best all the time not just when you are working on a story.

I'm a very honest person for the most part and thus your "review" will be all honest. I've been writing for quite a few years, though I've never published anything nor do I plan on it. I highly enjoy reading - stories will original ideas are my favorites.
Please keep in mind that I will read the following - some exceptions do apply and are written.
Adult Content such as lemons, limes, fluff, sexual content itself is all fine.
Yaoi (boy/boy love) and Yuri (girl/girl love) are also fine with some exceptions. You do need to tell me who the couple is. I prefer Sasuke/Naruto (Anime: Naruto) yaoi fics more then anything else.
Cursing/Cussing is also fine and if for some reason it is not I will inform you of such.
Incest, this is a maybe. I'd honestly have to consider it. Sasuke/Itachi (Anime: Naruto) it would be a maybe. Yoh/Hao or Yoh/Zeke (Anime: Shaman King) is a definite no.

I'm a very descriptive person, so your review will be the same - thorough, detailed, and described along with tips of course to help you.
I must admit that I'm very good with character development. I'll catch you on bad characters, sue-like characters, as well as characters that are simply unoriginal and will inform you of such.
Something else I check are your summaries, story lines and plots. I tend to ask questions sometimes to try and get a better feel for your story depending on how many chapters there are.
Story length, keep this in mind, I do check this. It's on of the first things I check along with other basic story things, chapters, ways you write, etc.

My main weakness is spelling. I am not a bad speller, but catching other people's spelling mistakes isn't something I'm very good at. I do, use spell check, and I will look over your story in 'Microsoft Office Word 2003' to check for anything spelling and grammar that I may have missed.
Naturally, if I do not like a story I will probably stop reading it and send you a message about it. I will inform you of what I think I don't like about it.
I often dislike working with long stories.

I prefer reading romances, action/adventures, fantasies, (some) dramas, suspense stories, (some) mysteries, sci-fi's, poetry, and some humor stories. Not comedies.

I honestly, do not like to read stories that are already more then 5 chapters unless those chapters are short. The story can end with as many chapters as you'd like, but when you request me to beta-read it I hope it will be less then 5 chapters. I do make exceptions depending on the story.
