Hi, my name is Alison, and I have enjoyed writing since The begining of 7th grade. But I have enjoyed reading since third grade. I often hit the book store and cannot find stories that grab my attention. I would be happy to help beta-read pieces of work before the submission, while focusing on spelling errors and the flow of certain parts. Often times when reading if I feel punctuation needed to make the part flow is missing I'll often add it mentally. For my friends I'll mark up their rough drafts in red pen, mainly adding and taking away punctuations. I may also be able to suggest changes to the overall style of the work, to make it more consistent and improve the flow. I like things that are well written, but they don't have to be professonal.
I am on the computer every day, so I will most likely be able to read and process requests quickly. If you ever have a question, just send me a message. Though I may not be able to get to you right away due to working on my own stories and school that I hope to keep up. I am more times then not up late so that I can get more writing done. Don't be afraid, if you happen to be up late, to contact me at times such as 2 in the morning. Sometimes I will or will not be up. I would enjoy reading what you have for me and will contact you ASAP if there would be any delays in my reading of your stories.

I will admit that I am not gentle. I tell the truth and an a very hard critic, though I do realize that you have feelings and will attempt to put it in the best way possible. I can help with characters, certain personalities of characters are my specialty. For example, if your main character has a kick butt attitude and won't take anything from anyone I can help you there. But if your character is super sweet I will be able to help, but it wouldn't be my strong point. I am not perfect but can help in many other ways than the one listed above.

Sorry to say, but me and spelling aren't best friends, though I will notice if you misspell something.

I am not one to dismiss heavy "bad words" in a story. My own stories have their fair share of curse words in them. I will read Mature stories even though I will not be able to help with sex parts. I perfer reading romance and Young Adult stories but will read whatever genre you want me to. But as stated above it must be well written.

Stories about Vampires and/or Warewolfs. Unless it is your own, or the origional idea, and not copied off of Stephanie Meyer's idea of a vampire. There must have been research on the subject that went to a further extent than the Twilight books. No Sparkling. Also please no M/M or F/F romances. I have nothing against them I just do not wish to read about them.
