I am the kind of beta that focuses on your general plot idea and the flow between scenes. I also help you describe scenes to 'paint a picture in the readers' mind', or in other words, your descriptive details (but nothing over descriptive). I also check on your sentences to prevent unnecessary run-ons and makes sure that the words fit together. I can also help you create more interesting and realistic characters. Displaying strong emotions and feelings is something I'd like to believe I do well. I will not tolerate any rude or ungrateful remarks from you personally to me, certain races, religions, etc. I'm not very happy with parodies or those kind of stories that just fools around without any meaning. I prefer something serious, like angst or suspense. But anything else is fine as well, such as drama or romance or adventure. If you're interested in me as a beta, please PM with a summary of your story that should include the plot and main characters. And if you can, send me the first few paragraphs of your first chapter so I can understand your writing style.

Checking to see if your characters are realistic and interesting enough 9and un-Mary Sue), the plot of your story, and scenes that needs to be descriptive. I'm also strong in the area of displaying deep and strong emotions and feelings. I don't like cliches, but it's not intolerable.

Grammar and different tenses. I work with them as much as I can, but I can't help you much with it.

Any genre is OK. My strengths are angst, fantasy, drama, hurt/comfort or anything related. Romance and horror is fine as well. Or generally anything that that has a decent plot, with good characters and decent writing. Violence and fighting scenes are fun, too.

Smut, lemons, etc. Or anything's that's just fooling around with a stupid/meaningless plot. That does not mean I don't beta comedy stories.
