Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I'm Hilary, a writer of mostly poetry, but a bit of prose as well. I'm interested in stories about love - all sides of it, nature and fables. I enjoy working with free verse poetry in varying styles and subjects, I'm very open about what I work on, but what inspires me most is the connection between the writer and the reader - if that connection is strong it allows the work to truly shine. |

My favourite writing style is free verse poetry and prose in general. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
When structure is important - as in traditional poetry. In my own writing I prefer free verse and the emotion and impact that a change in format can bring. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
If you've read any of my work, I'm good at love and its darker side. I enjoy writing and reading about nature and the earth and love, always love, as cliche as it is to say. Anything with emotion I'm a fan of. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
I'm not too big a fan of mystery or religious pieces. |
