This is another poem about unrequited love. As usual. The girl cannot understand how people can commit themselves to only one person, and how, when that person is taken, a happily ever after can still exist.

Lying awake, thinking of you makes me realize just how noisy everything around me is.

Infidelity.

An icy kiss will be my legacy to you, since you can't be mine in life

I'd give you anything, but you wouldn't want it. I doubt I ever cross your mind, except as the person you once or twice got a glimpse of...a shadow

This is a poem for anyone who truely believes that they know what love feels like.
