Personal rants from personal to the very personal

Second piece of the third part of the Eng project. This is actually a Creative Nonfiction piece, but it's very similar to a fiction piece. Either way it's a short story so to speak, but based in reality. It speaks from my point of view and is again on the topic of Alzheimer's. I've included the introduction with this piece instead of for A Child Again, but they both share it.

In a world seven billion strong, it would appear as if loneliness was non-existent. Yet, most of us would agree that the words "love" and "compassion" seem to be foreign to our lips. This memoir focuses on a seemingly trivial experience with indifference. It hopes to shed light upon this pandemic, and its insidious affects on our lives.
