this is gorgeous. all of your writing is, actually- although i have a confession to make now: i'm terrified to review it because i don't have the history and it feels like cheating to say i understand when i don't. but the french revolution, at least, i know. anyway, this is beautiful, and i wish i could write like this- something more than moments.
