| Cherry Rain 2004-03-24 ch 1, | Impressive rhyme scheme, but I'd like to make a couple of comments about the meter of the poem... i hope you don't mind. I'm just a stickler for details. First stanza line 4- would be better if you used 'storm's center' Fifth stanza line 3- 'the'. Typo error. Sixth stanza line 2- 'too close'. Typo error. Sixth stanza line 5- 'it's'. Typo error. Seventh stanza line 6- I think it would be better if you said that Life 'stands alone' and huffs... because you can alone huff standing or sitting and it kinda ruined the effect, for me at least... Alright. Gotten all that out of the way... now I can tell you THIS POEM ROCKED! ^-^ It's really good... wah. *is jealous* The intent of the poem is really clear, and the intensity is carried off really really well! ^-^ |
