Totally cool story! I haven't finished the second chapter yet, but so far it's excellent! The plot line is pretty cool so far, but I've got a question. did you get some inspiration from Yuyuhakusho? It's been years since I've seen the show, and I've never read the anime, but it sound sorta like the storyline. I really like it, and I'll keep reading!

It's a bit confusing at first (I hate putting Romaji into English fics but, uh... Feel free do whatever you want), but things definitely get cleared up as you go through. Since this is only the first chapter, of course, I can't really say anything on the plot.

One thing I really, really have to point out is agreement. *winces* You keep on switching between the present and past tenses, and that's what really irked me when I read it. It's pretty much easier to read when you put everything in one tense.

One last thing: Your transition isn't smooth. It's quite stilted in the way that, when scenes change, it sounds a lot like a diary, or somesuch record. If it was meant to sound like that, my apologies.

Well, just remember that this is my opinion and don't get downtrodden or angry or anything. I'll keep on reading, so watch for more of my (if, perhaps, overly criticizing) reviews, and good luck!

Blue Star - so all of us should be glad that you decided to give your narrative skills a try now, isn't it? :D Though I can really see it as a great manga... any chance of that happening? Hehe.

Yuki - I'm glad you added that sunshine and smile. she's more human, or more real, this way. (Or maybe cos i just read/watch too much about those emotionless-but-really-not-so stereotypes. Don't get me wrong, it can be good, but there're just so *many* of them out there, ya know?)

Mai - turned out 'well' is an understatement. I love that chapter!!

Yuuji - Glad you made the change. it's just so... bittersweet (=cool), their relationship. well, more sweet than bitter, and the way they died is just soo cool... (in a sad kind of way)

Kaji and Aiko - *narrowed eyes*

My vote for the arcs are... well... I suppose that the prequel about Yuuji and Fuu's backround stuck out the most to me. I just think those two were so cute! ^-^ Anyway, great job!

Great ending! i really love the last line - 'one beautiful, unpredictable life'. so cool. so true. :D

So anyway, i thought you killed aiko in the beginning! i mean, with the cemetry and headstone and kamui sounding so sad, then Aiko didn't appear till the middle of the chpt... but i like what you did with kaji and aiko. kinda definately need a sequel here, cos kaji's sudden disappearance was really confusing. but i really love the way they meet again!

anyway, it's really cool you reveal what happened to the others in the past year in dialogue like that, instead of just paragraphs of err, note-like stuff. And they're really in character, too. and the part where the others called yuki's parents 'lord' are real funny, at first i even thought i missed something about her parents being a lord or somthing, haha.

And i'm sure all of us (readers) love your brainchild really much too so i say bring on the stories!! all the prequels sound great! though i'm more interested in the kaji sequel.

I dunno, but I personally think that this chapter was good. The last little section was a bit confusing, though. Was that Aiko dreaming or remembering something... or something?

I know how you feel about not being able to think of anything reasonable for a chapter. I've been stuck for so long on the Glitter chapter 6... I haven't updated that poor story in over a year! ~;~" Talk about major Writers Block.

AGRH! You're mean, I can't wait to read the rest of this one. You're really good. I'm so gald I found this story. I can't wait so please hurry. I know it must be hard for you to write such long things. I write kinda short stuff. But I really was about to die with the waiting on Aiko being bad. I swear I freaked for ever. (Well at least until this came out) At least this one isn't as bad but I still can' wait.

first of all, i just found out about your story today and read it all in one go, and man, your story ROCKS man!

you're a great writer, making me fall in love with every character (except Youko, 'course) AND YOU KILL THEM ALL! (i'm talking about the roses here) YOU KILLED THEM! Wa...

as a writer myself, i definitely understand how amusing and enjoyable (and sad also) sometimes it is to kill your character and though i'll never ask you to revive them but... i goddamn friggin cried!
