How simple and sad. It's actually the simplicity in the short little lines and few number of them which give this poem its amazing touch.

Sad. I like this, and I can kind of relate. Not with the part of wishing they were alive, but I know what it's like to lose someone close to you. Very good poem.

I love it!! But it's so sad.....though I know that most times sad poems are the best! Your poem has a lot of feeling to it. I think it's cool that almost all the lines start with A (except for the second line in the the second stanza.As always, keep writting!
