In order to preserve knowledge we must take the bad with the good. That is a historical lesson we must take from the Nuremburg book burning. The first target of a dicatorial state is the educational system and the educators.

Good job on the work.

That wasn't bad. A bit rambly (in fact, a lot like Atlas Shrugged (the only Ayn Rand book I've read. The beginning's great) but not bad. I'm a Jew, in fact, and have one of those weird sorts of fascinations w/ the Holocaust, so it caught my eye. But it's still pretty neat (and I agree with you, returning reviews is a bit of a common courtesy, so that's partially why I'm reviewing yours)

That's really rather good. I thought at first that "meeker" at the end was a mistake for "bleaker", but on reflection I like "meeker" there, precisely because it's not quite the word one expects, and therefore adds to the reader's sense of unease.

An interesting and thought-provoking piece. The majority of Germans were right behind the the Nazis (at first, anyway) but even back then, before the war, there were still some Germans that saw the Nazis for what they truly were, and hated them. Well done.
