i like it, im a bit sad that the next chapter is the last one, how much further into the future is this, can tarn not kill because of his half elf side? bla and i have a feeling that Evelyn is important, but how could the innkeeper know she was nobility and what does this um...the temple of the goddes? oh well Ill read on

that was a really good opening, it can be really hard to get people attached to charictor right away but you did a really awsome job of it look forward to the next chapter i do

Love the name Larae, it had that feel to it. Poor Tarn, feeling the hatred of those who hate mixed bloods, but its a way of life he was to deal with. I thought that it was good of him to help the woman birth her child, yet I recoiled such as he to have her reject the baby due to sex. Shame really for some people are that way..being a mother I could never banish either of my sons even though I wanted a boy.

Poor Tarn though..he had to lose the baby he risked much to..to the child's father.. Though I wonder..how did the father knew it was his child? That's what I didn't understand.
