Very cute, but not exactly great transition. Seems a little rushed.

Aww, man, too bad you had to resolve it. I was being freaked out, wondering if she was going crazy, if she would go home and kill her parents or something, building a history as to why she only felt safe at home. It would have made a very nice horror story, but it lost its horror at the end. Nonetheless, it was an excellent suspense fic. Nicely done.
