This was very interesting. However, I would assume that there'd be more to summoning someone (especially a King) then just saying a line or two. White candles, sea salt, blood, ruins, moonlight, etc.

I am saddened that there is no more to this--and it doesn't even seem to be a complete chapter. You left us abruptly hanging at the outstretched hand.

The best stories come in English class. That makes a lot of sense, but when I think about it, it doesn't really.

Is there going to be more? It's a good idea--but just as a suggestion--take out a few of the questions she asks herself. Make it a little more cryptic perhaps. Just an idea :)
